• In the Community Event – Add form, if someone is curious about the options for a Reoccurring event and clicks it, there is a TRASH CAN icon, but it will not remove the Series #1 part of the form.

    Trash can should not be displayed if it cannot remove the series. SO can that be fixed so it actually removes the Series part of the form.

    Hi there,

    I am a little unsure as to what you are referencing here, are you saying that when creating a recurring event, you cannot remove the very first Time and Date Section? Like it is on https://demo.theeventscalendar.com/event-submissions/?

    You would be removing the time and date section for the entire event you are creating in the first place, and that is just how the submission form for Community Events is meant to function.

    If I am misunderstanding this please let me know, and send a link to where this issue is occurring if you can!

    Thanks for looking at this, but it evidently has been resolved via an update and does not have this problem anymore.

    I used to be able to recreate the issue with ease, now it will not do it. That’s a good thing.

    I would just close out this thread.

    FYI – Yes we have the Pro version – but as a Non-Profit (who does not pay for it).. hence having to ask questions here, as I was told was the proper thing to do in our case.
