    You do not need to enter the key below for the plugins to work,

    Purchased the community event ad on for 65 dollars…initially it crashed my site https://urbanlyfestylesmagazine.com had to trouble shoot one plug in at a time…(woo commerce conflict) at times my calendar would play hide and seek… it seems that just when it started working my lic expired however, as stated above the plug in I purchased is suppose to continue working…but I will no longer receive any updates…however, MINE DOES NOT WORK….aNY SUGGESTIONS???? You do not need to enter the key below for the plugins to work,

    Howdy bigezme,

    You definitely do not need a license for it to work. However, when running an old version of the calendar it might start conflict with new versions of WordPress or other plugins. For instance we just discovered an issue with the latest 3.10 version of our plugin when run in WP 4.3 beta. So we plan to fix this in 3.11 of our plugin so that as of that version we are compatible with WP 4.3. But, if you are running 3.10 or under, you will not be compatible.

    Have you been updating your plugins and WordPress? If so I bet you are no longer running compatible versions with your older version of Community. What version of The Events Calendar are you running, does it match COmmunity’s version? If not, try downgrading The Events Calendar to match Community. Does that fix it?

    This is why I continued to run the old version of wordpress specifically so that the plugin would not go crazy again….so the problem is not an up grade it simply stopped working and told me I needed to renew my lic?????

    So I understand what would happen had i upgraded the word press… I like the look of the program and I like what it says that it is suppose to do…but the reality is there are some problems that I should not have to pay for while it is not working…

    I apologize for the inconveniences you have had when using our plugin. The initial crashing is definitely very unfortunate. However, within this WordPress environment where any code can be added to a site, we can do our best to prevent these types of issues however the potential for conflicts will always be inevitable. I’m glad you were able to get that initial conflict sorted out though ??

    I can guarantee though that the license not being added WILL NOT cause the plugin to act any differently than it would with the license. The idea of the plugin continuing to work means that the license isn’t preventing the functionality, however it isn’t a guarantee about any future potential conflicts that may occur.

    Unfortunately, there are a number of issues that could contribute to an old version of the plugin not working. Not only could there be conflict with WordPress core but also any other plugins on your site, your active theme, or even a hosting environment change beyond your control. This is why we’re unable to guarantee or support the functionality of outdated versions of our plugin.

    I do want to apologize again for the inconveniences that these conflicts have caused.     In closing, it is essential to be running the latest versions of WordPress and of our plugins –?if conflicts arise from this, we can address those, but out-of-code is unworkable and will likely cause errors anyway, as well.

    I’m marking this topic “resolved” because, as noted, we will continue providing you support through our own systems and not here on www.remarpro.com in this thread.
