Community Email Postings

  • I have been using WordPress for several years and have tried setting up email posting several times with limited success. Here is what I would like to do with a new blog.

    Allow a community of users to e-mail posts. Hold all these e-mailed posts until they can be reviewed and released. This will occur at least each morning of all the previous days emails.

    To encourage the most posts I would prefer not requiring the person posting to register but if they do I would like to provide them with a separate e-mail address if their posts were to be allowed to bypass moderation.

    The post subject should be taken from the e-mail subject and if categories and tags could be included that would be helpful.

    Is this possible and is there a mod or plug-in that would help?
