Communication Error Response Code: 500 Internal Server Error

    Hey!

    Every time i keep backing up my WordPress website using xCloner i keep getting this error:
    {"readyState":4,"responseText":"","responseJSON":null,"status":500,"statusText":"Internal Server Error"}

    Any idea how i can fix this issue?

    Please check your site error log, usually 500 errors are logged there.

    Does the XCloner Logger from Dashboard show any error messages?

    It could be that you are hitting a hard server limit, in XCloner Settings->System tab, there are some options which you can decrease to make it run smoother, like “Files To Process Per Request” and “Database Records Per Request”. Also, please check if you have enough disk space to create backups

    I had the same error. The cause was the table itsec_lockouts of the plugin itheme security. I deleted the locked hosts in the itheme settings, then backup worked.
