• Crashed my blog. Had to get technical support to unwind & restore via FTP, since I erred in a significant way (didn’t backup first). Upon login, the only thing that would display was an error page code referring to line 54 of one of the .php files. At that point, it showed me as logged in, but I couldn’t log out.

Did you edit any files in any way? Simply having whitespace before a .php file’s opening <?php or closing ?> tags can cause this (at least it happened to me once…try it out).

Tell me more. Was it running first, or did you just install it and the site crashed?

I saw today that there was an update, so loaded the update and it crashed again:

This is all that is displayed from my blog page:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wpCSL_initialize_license_options() in /home/content/11/6256411/html/bigfootclub/wp-content/plugins/moneypress-commission-junction-edition/cs-cj.php on line 54

    To answer your questions:

No, the files were not changed since those were installed (a couple of months ago). The crash occurred immediately after updating to the new version. I thought there had been another update, but I was wrong – it is still the same version.

Which version are you using? The LE release or standard release? What version number exactly?

I cannot access the site now, so I can’t tell you the version number. This time, restore has not worked yet; I am going through that process again now. However, the date on the folder from the last update (which would have occurred shortly after the notice was posted that the update was available) is 7/19/11.

This is a basic version; there was a one-time fee of $5.

Also, I see that this issue has been posted by other users recently (3 days ago). Perhaps it is the same underlying issue, and they may be able to provide more detail.

@wp Plugins user. Have you downloaded the latest release of the premium edition from our site?

Version 1.1.1 is the latest release.

It should not cause any issues on a standard WordPress site. We have it running on several systems in-house as well as a number of clients that are using the default plugin package with no reported errors.
