commerce plugin for artist

I was hoping someone could offer some advice. I have a artist website that does not sell images. While there are plenty of photos being displayed, none are for sale. However, I do sell sculptures, jewelry and tshirts. Using wordpress the image gallery parts are simple enough. Finding an adequate theme is simple enough. However, I don’t know of a simple way to integrate some modest commerce plugin to sell and display the other items as I can not use a commerce type of template. From what I understand, the commerce solutions take over the whole wordpress theme. The add paypal buttn solutions are too simple. I certainly don’t want to run 2 separate installations WordPress. Guidance is welcome. Thanks.
