Comments/Amplify Theme

I am new to WP. I am using the Amplify Theme and I have spent hours trying to figure out why the “Leave a Comment” link does not appear in neither the header nor the footer of each post. In each post, I have “default” checked in the comment options box. The ability to leave a comment is present if I click on each post individually, but I want the link to appear on each post. I don’t care if it is in the header or the footer of the post, I JUST WANT IT TO APPEAR SOMEWHERE! Help me, please!
