Comments Will Not Show Up On Posts

Try disabling all your plugins to see if that fixes it.

If it does, reactivate the plugins one by one and see which one is the culprit. A Facebook plugin has been known to cause this and some others might be interfering too.

Unfortunately this was not the problem. Most of the plugins on my website are simple such as, robots, seo, analytics, contact form. The facebook feature you see on the right is just a div class that was provided by them.

After disabling and reactivating the plugins the comments still are not showing up.

Just making sure we’re communicating – I didn’t say to disable and reactivate. I said to disable and check. Do the comments show when all the plugins are turned off and you’re running the TwentyEleven theme? It doesn’t matter how simple a plugin might be, it can still cause problems.

I once again activated the default theme and suddenly the comments are appearing. This obviously means that my theme is to blame for this disaster.

What could be causing this?
