Comments sync problems

  • I have a problem regarding synchronisation of comments made on Comment box on site and the ones on Facebook fan page.
    The plugin is all set up, new posts are automatically posted on fan page, and user that comments via Comment box on site have that comment displayed on their timeline. Comment is also shown in Comment box on the site itself. That part is working fine.
    The problem is that comment made on site doesn’t show up on fan page under comments for given link, nor the comments made on fan page show up in Comment box on the site. But, when someone comments on a comment made by another user on their timeline or in the Comment box, these comments are synced, and show up on both sites.
    Am I missing something here, and how can I make this work for regular, not only “nested” comments?

    The Facebook plugin for WordPress does not attempt to synchronize comments between a link shared to your Facebook Page, a link shared to an author’s Timeline with public privacy, and comments published through the Facebook Comments Box social plugin.

    If you believe you have found a bug or inconsistency with the Facebook Comments Box social plugin you may browse and create bugs on the Facebook Developers site.
