Comments Post info Author info Not displayes

  • Hi Anders,

    Hope you are doing well.

    I am facing the below issue where Comments Post info Author are missing for the lower part of each blog post.
    I have tried to disable all the plugin but issue still persists.

    Can you please advice?

    Hi @georgeargyrakis,

    The handling of the post meta display was changed in the 2.0.0 version of Garfunkel. If you have a child theme that overwrites the singular.php template file, you’re going to have to add the changes to the 2.0.0 update to the post meta tabs section for them to work correctly.

    Thank you for letting me know.

    Indeed I use a child theme, but I am not sure if it is overwrites the singlular.php. I can see that in child theme I have a single.php file where the post meta are included.
    It seems that I have to update single.php with the latest version of Garfunkel? Is this correct?

    Sorry if this doesnt make sense but I am not very familiar with wordpress hierarchy.
