• I’ve just about got WordPress set up (migrating from b2). I grabbed a template from https://www.erisfree.com/design/, and did some slight modifications.
I’ve got two problems, which I’ll post about separately…
The first is that, after filling in the comments pop-up window and clicking “Say It”, the window stays open, giving the impression that the comments weren’t entered (even though they were).
Any ideas on how to fix?
    Thanks.

  • I’m fairly sure that that little window updates, the poster can see their comment, and then they can close the window.
Happens on other flavours of blog too.

Actually, there’s no indication that the comments were posted – it just goes back to the top of the pop-up window, and if I scroll down, my entries are still in the fields, giving the impression that it didn’t work (even though the comments were in fact posted).
What I’d like is to be able to have the pop-up window automatically close after the commnents are posted. I’ve been trying to figure out if there’s a line of code that could be added to auto-close the window, but I’m not well versed in the code enough to know for sure.

i believe only ur details will be retained on refresh not the actual content.

Well, the javascript window.close() will close a window ??
Having said that – I would personally to leave my comment window open, maybe with a message saying “Comment posted, but moderation is on so it will not display until approved by a moderator”… but that’s just me ??
