Comments.php – Can’t add reCAPTCHA field

    I did try to manually add a reCAPTCHA field on blue plant but without success.
    Under the directory /wp-content/themes/blueplanet/comments.php
    I add this code ‘COMMENT_NOTES_AFTER’ => ‘<DIV CLASS=”G-RECAPTCHA CAPTCHA” DATA-SITEKEY=”API KEY HERE“></DIV><BR /> ‘,

    As it was described in this guide WP google recaptcha comments

    Unfortunately I haven’t had success until now, probably because that guide it is for wp2015 theme? Is it possible anyway to add recpatcha field without plugin?
