Comments only posting to first post

  • Good evening all,

    I have a strange problem happening to me:

    whatever blog post someone comments, that comment goes to the very first post on the blog.

    I can’t figure out what’s going on and I don’t want to mess with code to much as I don’t want to screw up my website.

    Has anybody had this happen to them?

    Can anybody help?

  • there is possibly something wrong in your coding, like an un-reset secondary loop or so…

    name and download link of your theme?

    My theme is called Invictus by Doitmax and is available on Theme Forest.

    I removed all comments for now as they were not attached to their intended posts.

    Could it be something in the code?

    check where the ‘related posts’ section is coming from –

    from a plugin?
    – if so, deactivate the plugin, and look for an alternative.

    from a function of template code in the theme?
    if yes – the best place to start asking is the theme’s seller or author.
