Comments on Pages but not on Posts??? Why?

    on all my posts it says comments disabled. on my pages, it allows commenting. other than allowing commenting under the discussion tab, ive done nothing. what i want is to allow logged in commenting on POSTS but no commenting whatsoever on pages. i see nothing when editing pages or posts that allows me to allow or deny comments. thanks

  • if there is no ‘discussion’ box below the editor in ‘edit post’ or ‘edit page’ pages, try and click on the ‘screen options’ tab near the top right of these pages – this should give you some tick boxes to enable the ‘discussion’ options.
