• Not sure if there is a way to implement this on my site the way I want to, but here goes:

I have two parts to my site (in essence) at this point. The WP Blog and the Static pages. What I would like to do is implement the comments feature on my static pages WITHOUT importing them into WP. I don’t need the content managment of WP for the (better than 400) static pages (all written in XHTML), but I would like to let a visitor to my site be able to comment on the article they read.

I have seen other sites do this, and I can ask them, but I’m hoping for an easy way to add JUST the comments feature to the static pages, and have the SQL table (or whatever) save the comments on those pages.

I really don’t want to have to redesign my site (again) into PHP or anything like that, so if there is an easy way to implement these I would appreceiate any advice.

If it turns out that it can’t be done, then that’s good too. I’ll have to live without it. ??

No solution, huh? Okay. I’ll live without it.

I am looking for the same implementation. Any one know how to do this?

I can live without it but my users keep asking me for it so I don’t think they can :-/

Import the content to WP Pages. Otherwise, too hard without someone coding it for you, I suppose.
