Comments on Images widget links to blank pages

  • Hello Jacob,

    I stumbled across that clicking at one entry in the Comments on Images widgets at the left in the image gallery leads to a blank page instead of the image. Is this a misconfiguration or a bug?

    This is for example the orignal image: /gallery/wppaspec/oc1/lnen/cv0/abMain/pt114

    And this is the link after i have clicked at the comments icon for this image

    /recently-commented-photos/wppaspec/oc1/ct10/ab0/pt114

    Version 8.0.06.004 installed. Problem persists.

    Hello,

    I have found the conflicting addon. It’s an addon called wp-Monalisa. An addon to add custom smilies. When i turn it off then the js error is gone, and i can access the images from the widgets again.

    WPPA 7 worked fine with this addon. WPPA 8 shows the problem.

    Investigating into the missing ) error at the moment. Maybe i can catch the conflict …

    Not to chatch. I am lost here. But maybe you are able to reproduce it, now that you know what addon it is.

    Version 8.0.07.018 and the problem still exists.

    Any chance that this bug is ever fixed? I miss my smileys. And there is no substitute addon for it ??

    More than three months now. And not even a word from the developer why he let me down with this bug, and with trying to catch and fix it. Okay. Time to realize that i waste my time here. This bug will never be fixed. Time to search for a working substitute.
