I am using the Twenty Ten theme and with our blog, we are not allowing comments (at least for now). Seeing “Comments Off” seems unfriendly; how do you get rid of it?

I have searched the Forum and folks seem to have wanted to get rid of more than that. I have searched the .css and php files and don’t see where “comments off” is.

    Thanks for your help!

  • You will find the comments_popup_link() function in loop.php responsible for that text.

Just be aware that the function appears three times in loop.php…

    Hi,
Thank you for your response. I see the three times in the loop.php and I see the examples but I am unsure of exactly what to either remove or add in the functions.
I probably know just enough php to be dangerous so a little more detail would be helpful!
    Thank you in advance!

    Hi again,
Just goes to show you should take one more moment to really read the stuff. Which I did and it works!
    Thank you very much!
