“Comments off”, how do i turn them on?

  • ok, i’m a muppet. i’ve looked and looked but simply cannot see how to turn comments on. please take pity and help.

    On the individual post, look in the upper right hand corner of the screen. You can enable comments or pings per post there.

    I just posted a post only to see that the comments have been turned off. that’s a mistake, how do I turn them on? all other posts allow comments. I’m using wordpress 2.7.1
