Comment’s number style

  • Is it possible to change the style of the comment number?
    I tried to search the source, If I’m guessing right, then the this numbering is between id tag.
    However, is it possible to change the style of the number and where?

  • Are you talking about the type of numbering? Then check CSS Lists.
    If you’re talking about the appearance, um… I might be wrong but I think if you modify your css in #commentlist that will modify the numbers. However that would also modify the actual comment text, so use #commentlist li to undo those changes. I think that’s how it works…

    D’oh, I was wrong, I just tried it out. You can use #commentlist to mark up your numbers, but use #commentlist li *. Not the best solution (the asterick could have some side-effects, but I doubt it), but it should work.

    Well, tried #commentlist li *, but it changes only the style, apperance of the comment content. The number, however stays intact.

    I removed the appearance of the numbers entirely. See my stylesheet
