Comments not working anymore

This is an awesome and very useful plugin but there’s a small bug with newer versions of buddypress and wordpress. In the new streams that are produced it’s not possible to comment on anyone’s media. The comment button and maybe favorite button are not working anymore. Hopefully this is a small fix?
