Comments not working

    Hello,

    My comments are not working.
    Before it showed error 404, but i disabled the comment pagination and now it doesn’t display any error, it simply doesn’t want to save the comment.

    Try decativating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Default theme (WordPress 2.9) or the Twenty Ten theme (WordPress 3.0) to rule-out a theme-specific issue.

    Back with some info.

    I’ve tried the following things:

    – Changing the theme to the default wordpress one
    – De-activating ALL the plugins
    – Reinstall wordpress (automatically from the Update dashboard option)

    But still, no-go.
    Please help I don’t know what else to do ??

    Also, i have to mention that besides the posting of new comments doesn’t work, all the old comments dissapeared and the “Recent comments” widget doesn’t work as well.

    Solved it! Apparently the table was crashed so i repaired it from phpmyadmin.
    So, in case this happens to anyone else (comments not working, recent comment widget not working aswell) i recommend checking phpmyadmin for errors ??

    I have same comments problem (wp 2.8.6) with permalink custom setting /%post_name%.
    Please can you explain what table to check exactly?
