    Hi,

I’ve checked out the other posts tagged with this topic, but none seem quite like my issue.

Users can’t post comments to my blog posts.

The comments box appears and can be completed fine, but when the button is pressed, the little spinny-ball turns forever and the comment never appears.

    I’m totally stuck!

    Here’s a post.

Comments are enabled indefinitely and set to ‘must provide name and email’ (I’ve experimented with different settings here).

    Permalink structure is /post-name.

Latest version of WordPress running a child theme based on Make, all plugins are up-to-date.

    Any suggestions gratefully received!

    Thanks,

    Beth

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

Thank you! I had done that a few days ago, but weirdly it seemed to work this time. If it helps anyone else, the issue seems to be a conflict between WP Super Cache and All In One Security. Super Cache being the main culprit, but even after deleting it, I had to reinstall All In One Security to make comments work. Weird!!

    Thanks again.
