Comments not working

Try switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

I did as you suggested and got exactly the same results as before. Check out my site at this link https://diyaquaponics.com/new-years-resolution-sprouts/ then post this comment for the post and watch the results then tell me what the problem is.

Don you have done a terrific job with this contribution. You really hit the nail on the head for those people who wish to eat healthy and lose weight.

Underneath your post in the post editor, there are options for turning comments on under Discussions… if you can’t see them then look at the top right under “Screen Options” toggle the option on and then look for “Discussion” down below Custom Fields… then toggle on the “Allow Comments” option…

I looked at your code and comments are not activated or are being deactivated by the two social plugins you are using. Could be in the plugin settings to deactivate WP Comments…. you can look for that too…

Well, you want me to register for an account to post a comment, so let’s just describe what’s going on.

What do you see when you try to submit the above comment? Can you submit any other comment?

When I submit a comment, it say sumbitting comment…

Then I get this:-

ERROR: The comment could not be saved. Please try again later.

Is that with any comment, or just the comment you quoted above?

It won’t allow comments on any of my posts

Make sure your database has an _comments table.

Here is the error message from the error log:-

So I created the BLOGcomments tables and now the comments section is working …DUH! on me

I added one for the comments and commentsdata That is what I found in one of my other WP databases.
