Comments not working?

I turned on the option under the discussion tab under “Options”. That option was not enabled when I posted any of my previous posts – do you have to enable comments for every post?

The setting under Options > Discussion would only affects posts published after changing it.

Ahhhhhhh. I didn’t realize that. Is there any way to enable it retro-actively?
