Comments not visible

    I’ve just started updating my old blog but I’ve discovered that my comments are no longer viable but they are there when I go to my wordpress admin page. I’ve done some investigating online and it seems like a problem a lot of people have had. The few explanations on how to fix I have found have gone way over my head. Can anyone give me a simple explantion on how to fix the problem? I would be very grateful. Thanks.

  • I am having the exact same issue at https://chicksontheright.com. I can’t click on the comments or even the post headings – they’re just no longer active. What in the world???

    I think you have a plugin messing with you
    deactivate them one by one until you find the offender

    Thanks Samboll. You are my hero.

    It turned out none of my plug-ins were active (I didn’t notice that before). I deleted the ‘Hallo Dolly’ plug-in (no idea why I ever installed that) and re-activated my ‘Akismet’ and ‘Gravatar’ plug-in and it all started working again fine.

    Thanks Samboll, you save my blog! I deactivated the plugins and reactivate and the comments are visible finally. Thank you ! I have not identified which was the offender but as long as it works again, who cares! I can have a good night sleep now.
