Comments not shown on recent comments list

Dear Community,

I can see the comments on the events page itself, and I can see all comments for events on the dashboard page for administrators. But they don’t get shown with the wordpress default “recent comments” widget.

I also tried some other community widgets like “recent comments pro”. I can select “events” there but no comments are shown.

Is it likely that our theme won’t show this comments or is it a problem on your side? We use a custom theme from: https://themeforest.net/user/pixfill/portfolio

Any idea would be nice ??
