Comments not showing up

  • I approved a comment about an hour ago for a blog post and the post still says “No Comments” and when I click on the post itself the comment isn’t published there either. I haven’t had this issue before, but I recently installed a few plug-ins that may be tinkering with it, I have no idea. Can you please advise?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
