Comments not showing after posted

Have you tried:

– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

– switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

– re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

I will try to deactivate the plugins but I’m having a problem understanding the terminology. thanx

OK…I have deactivated all the plugins and reactivated them. That didn’t work. What is the Twenty Eleven theme?

The current default WordPress theme. Do you have a copy of the Twenty Ten theme?

Nope…I am using Picture Perfect theme

Please look in Appearance -> Themes for the Twenty Ten theme. If you do not have it available, then you need to upload it.

Why do I have to add this theme?

Because it is the default theme for your current version of WordPress.

I’m confused…will it change my current theme?

Not permanently, no. But you need to install & activate it as part of the basic troubleshooting process.

I’m having the same problem, my comments aren’t posting. I only found out when someone told me by twitter that they couldn’t comment and then I tested myself and nothing.

I’m currently using 2011 and I’ve updated my plugins. I have not tried deactiviting them though.
