Comments not showing

Sorry that you ran into issues here!

Can you tell me a bit more about your setup?
– Version of BD?
– Version of WP?
– Do you have the BD comments enabled under Directory Admin->Manage Options, Listing tab?

What I see on the listing above is the standard WP comment form–which isn’t the same as the BD one. We use our own, because the shortcode that outputs the directory uses a single page for that output, and comments in WP are associated to the page or post. That would mean that all listings get the same comments, which isn’t desirable.

In order to see a comment per listing, you need to enable our comments under the setting above.

I dont understand your point about all listings showing same comments – for example the comment I linked to above does not display on other posts in the directory and I tested another comment on different post and that displayed separately.

Also how would I disable the default WP comments option to show the BD one instead? the comments option has been enabled on BD settings but you tell me that its showing default WP comments..

regarding versions I am using BD version 3.6.9.1 & WordPress version 4.3.1

Well I found the issue, had another plugin installed for ratings – SN ratings it was called, it hid the comments and problem resolved as soon as I deactivated it..
