I’m also having this problem. I’ve been busy for a few days, so haven’t had time to check on my blog. However, I’m guessing that this problem started within the past week. Yesterday, I noticed that the latest post showed “no comments”, but there were at least 10 as of May 6th. I can see the comments if I go to “Comments” on the dashboard, but they do not display. The second to latest post showed “11 comments” yesterday. However, when I clicked on the comments link, nothing was showing — and nothing shows for other posts when I click on the comment links, even if they show that there should be several there. The odd thing is, when I clicked on the “11 comments” link and tried making a test comment, when I posted it, it did not appear AND now that post shows “no comments” in place of “11 comments”. I’m pretty frustrated by all of this as I have no idea what is going on. I did a MSQL d-base repair last night. That seemed to help in one respect — until I did that, the “comments” on the dashboard were actually missing, so I thought all of the comments must have been somehow destroyed. So, I guess they exist but just aren’t appearing on my blog anymore. I checked my other older blogs which run on a older version of WordPress (2.0.2), and they are working fine. It is my more recent blog that runs on 2.3.3 that is having this problem. All of these are hosted on a Yahoo account and it has usually been reliable.
There is another problem that probably coincided with this crazy comment problem and was just noticed last night. If I click on any of my posts to try to view them separately, I’m getting this message:
Too many redirects occurred trying to open “https://magickcanoe.com/blog6/2009/04/19/meet-sage/”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.
Older posts can be accessed by doing a search for a word in the title of the post, but that’s anout the only way to get them to come up without getting the above message.
I know next to nothing about how to look for problems in the database, or code for my blog, so I am unable to figure out or repair any of this. It’s distressing to me as this is the blog that I use to write about my travels since the death of my husband. I would hate to lose the blog and the comments, but if I can’t fix this, I’ll just have to forget about my blog. Here is the URL of it in case there is anyone who wants to take a look and see if they can figure out what might be causing this problem:

Thanks in advance for any help with this problem.
