  • Sounds like a problem with your theme, have you tried with the WordPress default one?

    Thanks yurifari for replying! Yes, you are correct. It was my theme. I didn’t realize it was possible to disable comments through Genesis themes via Appearance > Customize > Comments and Trackbacks. I just had to check a box!
