Comments not appearing on WP 1.0.1

  • I’m having an issue when someone goes to click on the ‘Comments (X)’ below each post, the page ‘refreshes’ with the current post selected, but then the Comments section does not appear. I noticed this only happens if I am using Permalinks (year/monthnum/day). I have the .htaccess file in the WordPress sub-directory and I’m not getting any error messages. It just simply does not work. I searched the forum and could not find anyone with a similar problem. This was a fresh install and everything else seems to work OK. Does anyone have a clue?

  • You must have either post_name or post_id in your permalink setup.

    ahh, that would makes sense now that you mention it.. I’d tell you that “you’re absolutely correct!” but I’m sure you already knew that before you even responded.. thanks, Allusion!
