Comments not appearing (but comment count is)

I’ve just swapped from the official Disqus plugin to DCL (the official has been deleted). There are two issues: on posts which didn’t have comments previously Disqus doesn’t show up so there is no commenting option (see here: https://cashmeremouse.com/2018/01/14/2017-most-used-products-makeup/#respond); on posts which had comments, Disqus shows up but without the comments that were there before. The comment count for these posts is correct on the homepage, but not when you actually read the post. The example for this is link below.
I’ve tried importing and exporting, deactivating and reactivating, and nothing is helping.
