Comments not allowed, but they should be

I’m the administrator for a site that does not show a place for comments on blog posts, but it should. Comments are selected to be active.

Are there any solutions that can be suggested?

Here are two of the blog posts. One has received comments, but comments are now shown as closed: https://meredithfirst.com/defending-real-housewives-to-jesus/

The other has no comments and there’s no way to leave them: https://meredithfirst.com/the-magic-of-facebook/
