COMMENTS not all displayed even when setting are correct ?

hello,

Some of my PAGES do not display all comments.

For example a page has 550 comments I see displayed on top of the comments:
550 thoughts on this page

But then only 4 comments are displayed on the page and I need to click
← Older Comments
To see the next 100 comments.

My settings are:
– Enable threaded (nested) comments 2 levels deep
– Break comments into pages with 100 top level comments per page and the last page displayed by default
– Comments should be displayed with the newer comments at the top of each page

I would like the last 100 comments to be displayed on the page without having to click
← Older Comments

But maybe it does not work this way ?
