Comments not activating for pages

I recently upgraded to 2.5 and decided to add pages that I’d like the option for comments on. But when I select to activate comments on the Write–>Page area (both comments and pings are selected) it doesn’t show the option to leave comments on the page. I tried it on many different pages I have on the my site, https://www.biggestcrap.com, and it won’t work anywhere. But activating comments does work for all my posts. I’ve also gone to the main comments tab and made sure it allowed comments on the site and it did. I’m not sure if it was like this before I upgraded to 2.5 because this was the first time I tried to have comments on a page.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
