• I am brand new to blogging, vlogging and wordpress. I registered a domain name, have hosting, and installed WordPress, downloaded and installed a theme. Setup my site and all seems to be good except IE users cannot leave comments. Firefox users can, my brother that has a Mac, whatever browser he has comments work fine also.

I don’t know if the problem is with ME, IE, the theme, or WordPress, let alone how to fix it once I know where the problem is.

    My site is https://topwop.net

  • Hello

It seems to be there, you just cannot see it.

The comments class seems to be inheriting a display:block;, if you add display:inline; it clears it up in IE6 but then the clearfix ‘blocks’ pop out (in normal browsers).

I’d use a conditional comment and add the display:inline; to the ie-only.css.

yo dude, i had the same problem with the Fasttrack theme. Just downloaded and installed the updated theme (version 3) and it seems the bug is fixed.

If your issue is not resolved following Yosemite’s advice you may want to contact the creator of the theme you’re using to see if they’ve got a fix.
