Comments no longer being posted

I have been running WordPress 2.0 just perfectly fine since it was released. This week, however, I changed servers and now my comments no longer work. Well, mostly. I can post them if I’m logged in, but no one can post them if they’re not logged in, and others cannot post if they are logged in.

I changed themes, that wasn’t it; I tried replacing all files and that didn’t work so I did a fresh install and tested that – the comments worked. So I then imported everything back into the new install using new tables. And then, it was still working. I had two people that tested it, in addition to myself, and we were all able to post comments while logged in and logged out.

Now, I get reports that it’s happening again and I can no longer comment while logged out, either.

I don’t know what to do anymore. Is something wrong with my database? What else can I try?
