Comments in Pages photog 1.3

Good evening all,
I am working with the photog 1.3 them and have run into a snag I cant figure out. I want people to be able to put comments on pages I post as well as just postings. No matter what i have tried I cannot get it to work. Has anyone used this theme and gotten it to work? Thank you in advance
