• I installed and love this theme. The only issue is a reply or comment shows black text on a black background and it’s really unreadable. Is there an easy way to fix this?

  • Yeah, that’s exactly the problem. That plugin is rewriting that whole section and *not* giving any alternative CSS elements that can be used around it, no wrapper elements that can be used to colorize behind it.

Got a link to that plugin?

Or if you could re-enable that plugin and see if it has an option *not* to rewrite the comments code

Here is a link to the plugin page:

Maybe I could send you the code. I don’t know if I should put it here?

Naw, don’t put code here.. but did you check the options for the plugin to see if it has an option not to rewrite the comments section?

and your link didn’t come through

There should be an option in there for generating the comment form.. that should be unchecked or disabled. Then let’s take a look at it.

Okay I unchecked that option and it seems to have cured that. Now how or will that affect the plugin?

I wish I knew how to change the color scheme of the current theme. I love the theme but may prefer a slightly different color.

    Thanks for your help.

I have a bunch of different child themes available on my forums in this section: https://forum.frumph.net/viewforum.php?f=19

In the Easel Options there’s a disable default layout, which removes all the layout colorization that is on the theme to just be a blank black and white color set.

If you use one of the different child themes you could modify the color scheme via the style.css in the child theme (or) if you keep the default enabled you can enable jetpack’s edit CSS option (then an Edit CSS menu option will appear under the Appearance section)

Which will let you do ‘overrides’ of the current color scheme by putting your replacement CSS there.
