Comments going straight to trash

    I’ve been having issues with blog comments going straight to the trash. I’ve removed all spam plug-ins, and under Discussion settings, I don’t have anything marked for moderation. I’ve already did a search about this topic, but none of them looked resolved. Please help!

    Hi there – that sounds frustrating! Comment functionality isn’t a theme-specific issue, so you might want to repost in the general troubleshooting forum, where you’ll get more eyes on your post:

    As a first troubleshooting step, to rule out a plugin conflict, you could try temporarily deactivating all your plugins. Does the problem persist? If the problem is gone, reactivate your plugins one-by-one, look at the site in between each reactivation, to find the conflict.

    Hi Kathryn,

    Thanks much. I actually did post in the main forum, and they responded with, “Your site is a WordPress.com site. We can not support that here. This forum is for self hosted www.remarpro.com sites only. Please check on your theme’s support page for help.”

    I’ll try what you said regarding plugins to see what’s going on. Thanks much.
