  • Hey @eleeesq,
You can read the comment. If you do not like the comment or if the comment is not related to your website/products etc.., then you can simply Spam it.

Yes, I get this comments every day for a couple of days now. I spam them. Apparently more people get this messages…

I am the one who posted the question because I get one of these Prop 64 comments every few days. What am I supposed to do to stop these?”

I would add a plugin for adding the No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA by Google to WordPress comment system.

I get several comments a day from the same company. The URL is the same on all the comments but the sign-off name is always different. That made me suspicious. They are friendly comments but I’m pretty sure the site is a porn video site. I won’t go to the site but I googled the URL and there are several reports of abuse. Thank you @punktbiz for the plugin suggestion. I’m new to this so I’ll search the plugins and see if I can find something that would require CAPTCHA to leave comments. <3

There is a fairly easy option for you to not having to review the comments from this URL all the time without bothering your real users with the CAPTCHA.

In your WordPress admin, within the sidebar go to “settings” and choose for “discussion. At the bottom there are 2 textareas. The 2nd one is for blocking comments that contain a certain word/phrase. I added a line there containing filmkovasi.org which should keep anyone from commenting with that website included in either their comment, name, or website field.

Since we already know this website is shady and is used for spam we don’t expect our real users to include this in a comment. That makes it an easy case to prevent this from the WordPres settings.

Thank you, arnii5! I just did that and I hope that that takes care of that pesky spammer.

I got the same comments from filmkovasi.org as well. Those comments use different IPs but the same filmkovasi.org link. They just continue posting “nice” comments under my latest blog.

im also getting the comments from same filmkovasi.org from past two months..comments are friendly ..but still i dont understand how they got my website/blog..so thought to google it about filmkovasi and landed here.

I turned OFF comments on my website https://internationalrealtors.com

Also turned OFF discussions and did all the settings.

In spite of all the above today I received the following comment

He Makes Money Online WITHOUT Traffic!

Most people believe that you need traffic to profit online...
And for the most part, they're right!
Fact is.. 99.99% of methods require you to have traffic.
And that in itself is the problem..
Because frankly, getting traffic is a pain in the rear!
    Don't you agree?
That's why I was excited when a good friend told me that he was profiting, but with ZERO traffic.
I didn't believe him at first...
But after he showed me the proof, it's certainly the real deal!
I'm curious what your thoughts are.

    How is this possible?
