Comments from Access-controlled site don't appear as moderatable

I work on a plugin that, among other things, provides access control to specific pages on a WordPress site. When we install the Facebook comments plugin, students are able to comment on these pages, but we’re not able to view the comments in the Facebook app’s dashboard, and we’re also not able to moderate them on that access-controlled page.
I can confirm that moderation works on “public” pages of the site (like normal posts and pages), but on these specific access-controlled pages, this option is not available.
Is this a limitation of the plugin, or is there something we could change to allow Facebook moderation on these access-controlled pages?
