Comments form not displaying on posts

  • I am unable to find a way to have comments form to show up in posts. I would like to allow my readers to be able to leave comments on posts. I tried everything but couldn’t find how to get the comment form displayed.

    I went to customize theme option but had no way to add comments anywhere.

    Can you please help providing information on how to get comments form displayed in my posts ?

  • Hi, @sunchips

    1) Will you please check either you activated any comment disable plugin or not.

    2) Please go Dashboard->Settings->Discussion and checked Allow people to post comments on new articles in default article settings.

    3) Go to any post (Edit or Add New) dashboard, at the top right of edit post mode you will see Screen Options. Now click it and checked Discussion. It displays a new Discussion section just below your content section. Please check both checkboxes and publish your post.
