comments for different templates?

Is it possible for different templates to have different comment styles? I removed the “Posted by …” tag so that when I post to certain categories, you don’t see who posted it — it just looks anonymous. This is because the categories are things like jobs, meetings, etc — not individual articles.

However, when users do select categories where their individual articles will appear, I would like the “Posted by…” tag to actually show. Is there any way to do this?
