I just got this message from one of my visitors:

Just tried to post a comment to the new site
(apologies – its the first time) and it refuses to add
the comment giving instead the error
Error: This file cannot be used on its own. and the
    URL
    https://www.alittlepieceoftheworld.com/wp-comments-post.php
    in the
    addres bar.
My setup is Firefox 1.5.0.5, and I use tabbed
    browsing.

I haven’t had a problem myself, anyone know what I can do to go about fixing this?

Anyone know what I might need to change?

I just left a test comment (feel free to delete it) with Firefox 1.5.0.5.

is the problem with that particular person then?

The user haveing the problem also tried leaving a comment with safari and ie, all came up with the same problem. Anyone know what could possibly cause this, and what I can do to fix it?

The visitor having problems commenting fixed something on his end to resolve the problem.

“A cursory search of the googlenet, and a bit of
configurating and the problem is gone. It would appear
that you have to not disable browser ‘referer’ tag for
this to work. My firewall was doing the ‘favour’ for
    me.
Hope this helps anyone else experiencing this problem.”

Can I change that tag in my template somewhere also?

faustina: No, nor would you want to. The ‘problem’ was at the users end.
