Comments don’t work; blank page

  • I’ve spent a couple hours trying to find the solution to this problem, and nothing seems to work.

    Here’s my wordpress: https://gadren.no-ip.info/wordpress/

    At first, I could post comments in the example post. But after creating a new post, commenting in any post brings up only a blank page and no comment is saved (neither to the page nor to wp_comments). The blank page has the filename wp-comments-post.php, and I’ve read that there might be something to fix there, but no site I’ve found has explained just what needs to be done.

    This problem remains in both IE and Firefox, regardless of what theme I’m using or what plugins I’ve activated. Reinstalling wordpress seems to have no effect.

    After some more work on this problem, I found out that when I have the URI set to https://localhost:8080/wordpress, commenting works, but when it’s https://gadren.no-ip.info/wordpress , it doesn’t work. Why is this? Is anyone familiar with No-IP to figure this out?

    Yeah, Even I am facing the same problem for the last 24 hours. Can anybody cook a fix for this ?

    Did u install a plugin called ‘Live’ from Headzoo ?. Because Comments stopped working ever since i installed this plugin.

    Or is it a Core WordPress Bug ?.

    Nope, the only plugins I have are the default ones.

    I figured out that the problem was in the No-IP redirection service I was using… but now I’m wanting to use FreeDNS, but my site, https://gadren.wants.us.to/read , isn’t showing up for anyone else.

    Maybe, but whats wrong with my blog (https://tech-buzz.net) it was working fine until i installed that plugin. I asked everybody’s help at irc.freenode.net #wordpress. But it looks like this is a problem to everyone.

    I’m having a similar problem with wp-comments-post.php – it’s just not working properly and gives me a blank page.

    Can anybody Plz help us ??.

    I got my first spam after the comments stopped working, but still the good ones are not working.

    I am having a similar problem. I am very discouraged as I just launched my site 2 days ago. I have only had 1 visitor tell me they were unable to comment, but many more may have had the problem and not said anything. For me, the strange thing is that I can comment fine with Firefox, and the visitor who had the problem was also using firefox. I have no idea what to do.

    I wish someone would respond to these problems. I am thinking about canceling all of my services and going back to my old free simple blog.
