Comments don’t show up anymore

  • After wordpress update my comments don’t show up anymore.
    It shows the number of comments on each post but not the comments.
    I can receive the comments and approve them but they don’t show up anymore.

    I haven’t made any changes to the settings. Everything was working ok till the update.

    Hi there,

    The presentation of comments is controlled by your site’s theme. You will need to reach out to your theme developer, which appears to be “Baylys”, and have them see what could be causing the issue.

    I’m having the exact same problem: WordPress update breaks comments. cris459, did you find a fix in the meantime?

    This fixes the problem for me (codium reduction theme):

    1. Search for the file function.php within your wordpress theme
    2. Create a backup of the file
    3. Open the original functions.php
    4. Search for the line case ”:
    5. Add a new line after it with case 'comment' :
    6. Save/overwrite the file
