Comments, Disclaimer, Links

  • Last 3 Problems:
    1. Comments under each post show up one time and gone the next. I have enabled comments under Discussion and under Posts, and under drop down Screen Options above Posts in Admin, and still a problem.
    2. I cannot figure out how to get my Disclaimer to show up only on the sidebar.
    3. Downloaded Link Manager Plugin and set up a link but actual link does not show up in Sidebar.

    Just deactivated all plugins, waited 5 min, activated all again. Now it looks like I have to redo a lot of settings in the plugins, but still no Comments.

    That’s not quite what I meant – sorry, I should have been more explicit. We need to figure out why comments are not showing up. So you need to deactivate the plugins (your settings should be saved BTW) and leave them deactivated – see if the comments work. If not, switch to the default theme.

    Just to be sure, look under Quick Edit for a post – is Allow Comments checked?

    Also, did this problem just start happening? Were the comments working before? Did you change anything?

    Settings were not saved. Now I have no like button, no links to social sites, etc. I checked comments when plugins were deactivated. Not there. I have also tried switching to the twenty something theme. Comments have always appeared one time but not the next. Just checked Quick Edit under each post and Allow Comments is checked under each post.

    Now I see there is a big B on the top tab above the address bar of my website – B Travel to Little Known Places. What on earth does that mean?
