comments closed: to show on main wp index for 1.22

  • Hi there,

    Could someone tell me how I show the text ‘comments closed’ without the link on the index page instead of the link to the comments?

    This is what I use at the moment:

    ‘<?php comments_popup_link(‘Want to reply?’, ‘1 Comment’, ‘% Comments’); ?>’

  • I am guessing from a poor memory of 1.2. If you set no comments in admin it will default to comments closed.

    that is correct but it don’t show my example as closed. How do I say ‘Comments Closed’ in the example above?
